Testimonials
While John comes across as an unassuming, even self effacing person, he possesses a remarkably high level of expertise in the Filipino and Indonesian martial arts. He is well worth listening to when he starts talking about bladed weapons.
by Mushtaq Ali al Ansari, Perguruan Pencak Silat PengembaraJohn is a consummate Hoplogist, Martial Artist, and Fighter. His approach to the study of conflict, particularly armed conflict brings a nuance of practicality and functionality that is unique in this field. Ever a critical thinker, John does not merely accept dogmatic approaches to training and history, but delves deeply into these subjects shining a light of objectivity that is refreshing.
